Please Help (Blank screen) Closed

Question

Hello, 

As i was working on my laptop a 'dr watson' notification came up. The laptop was frozen and the mouse could not move. So i restarted the computer. The screen is now blank and I cant see anything. I tried the trick removing the battery and holding the power button but nothing seems to work. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys! (Acer Aspire | Windows XP SP3)

It sounds like you have a hardware failure. I you don't even see the Acer Logo when it boots then it's probably memory or motherboard related.  About the only thing you can do is to remove one of the memory cards (if you have two) and see if you can identify a bad card. 
Laptop motherboard cost more to replace than to buy a new laptop.
