Hello, i have this same problem, i can hear with my headphone jack but when i remove it, i cant hear anything again. i have tried all things possible.... disabled the audio device and enable it,updated my driver, chose speakers as default, run services.msc....i'm fed up, it is nauseating...pls help...thanks. in fact the headphone jack too just stops to work abruptly attimes causing me to to miss important calls to me on Skype, pls help quickly

Yes it seems that you have tried everything. It certainly looks like an issue with the plug. I suggest you have a qualified technician look at it.

thanks, Ambucias,
i did system restore, it restored that i can hear with the headphone now, worked with my windows media player but not with my calls on Skype, i still believe it can be done,pls help

wow, i can now receive calls on skype... remaining for my speakers to work.... i will be hinting you,
