Folder close causes explorer explorer error

Hello,
In Windows XP SP3, When ever i open a folder and try to close i am getting "windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience".
Kindly provide the fix.

Hello,
Try this 1
Place the windows xp CD in the drive --> Click on Start --> Run --> Type cmd and press Enter. Command Prompt will be opened. Enter the below command
sfc /scannow and press Enter.
If the problem still exists then at the bottom of that error window you can find "Click here". Click on that and let us know the entire error signature information.

Do you have windows XP CD with you? If you are having the OS CD then follow the above given instructions.
