I am unable to attach a file in gmail? please

Here was the solution for us...

We encountered the problem where the attachments stopped uploading and ultimately failed to attach. Maddened, cursing and about to lose our mainds.

We tried ALL of the solutions we could find mentioned online, but they made no difference.

Finally we plugged the laptop directly into our router and the speed difference allowed the attachments to upload and the problem stopped occuring. The only thing I can think is that the speed of the wireless is such that its appears to be affected by the autosave and size of the attachements.

BTW...we use Time Warner in SoCal with their wireless router that is provided for as a rental.

can you give steps to follow from taking the file where is allocated and transfer it to the email,do I cut or copy?
