Hello,

When I connect my GNet modem to my MacBook Pro, I get internet connexion through PPPoE (that's what my ISP have recommended). When I connect the modem to my Linksys WRT54GC router and the router to the computer, I cannot access internet although all lights are on and solid on both router and modem. I have reconfigured my router, but still not able to get to internet. Obviously, it does not work either when I try to connect wirelessly.

I have been using this modem and router for many years and everything used to work well, but now I have moved and I'm trying to reconnect the whole thing, but something seems wrong!

Please anyone can help?

Thanks

I suggest you use your ISP's help line to resolve the problem and/or do some research on the Linksys site. You should probably print the Linksys instructions on PPPoE connections. They can be hard to follow from memory.

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply. I contacted my ISP provider who told me that they are not responsible since when I can get internet when I connect the modem directly to the computer (they are not responsible of the router). They refer me to the router provider who want to charge me fees for support because the warranty is over.
