How to download a boot disc

Hello, i have a toshiba laptop and it needs a boot disc to start it , as i dont have one can i download it to my other laptop and burn it off .. its windows vista i have on it

Hi,

Please be more clear on your request .Which type of boot disk you need and for which purpose?Is it to recover laptop to factory settings or repair windows ?

i dont want to return it to factory settings , just to boot it to start and load as normal ... would i need the boot disc for windows vista ?
