Hi kioskea7,
As you have posted in Windows Vista section of the Forum, I assume you are facing this problem with your Windows Vista Operating System. This used to be a commonplace occurrence in Windows Vista Operating System. Try the fix suggested in the below mentioned link and see if the problem is fixed:

Hi Nic,
If any of the 3 steps didn't work for you, try restoring the computer to an older date. To restore the computer to an older date check the below mentioned link:

For Windows Vista/7 - https://ccm.net/faq/6693-system-restore-on-windows-7
