Asus laptop crash, won't turn on (no signs of life)
Closed
Hello, I hope someone can help:
My Asus UX30 crashed yesterday. I was trying to connect my headphones to the computer, but I accidentally put them into the USB port - and in that moment it instantly shat down. Any suggestions what might be the problem, what can I do (it's Sunday and all computer centres are closed)? Are my files gone forever?
I tried powering it up, I tried turning it on numerous times - but it just won't start. And it shows no signs of life when my charger is on and connected - no lights, nothing (and my charger is not affected and is working perfectly fine). Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Try this:
1. Remove the battery and cable
2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.
3. Replug and boot your lappy.
If it works, let me know.
Good luck

Yes, I would've tried it, but my laptop is a more compact model and the battery can be removed only by a specialist. Thanks anyway. I guess I'll have to go to a computer service centre.
