Hello,
I pulled the harddrive out of a HP 6500 can I put it in the extra harddrive space in a HP dv 7 ,
If not will a adaptor , By adaptor I mean SABRENT SBT-UI235 USB2.0 to IDE Adapter.

Is the hard drive a 3 1/2 drive for a desktop? If so, then it's not going to fit inside a laptop. A SABRENT like product would be good for a temp connection. But, a full enclosed case would be best for a long term connection. That Sabrent product is of low quality and the power supply has been reported to shortout and FRY the hard drive and/or computer.
