Laptop won't turn on :(

Hello,
So I have an Asus k72f and it wasn't acting right (really slow) so I was going to open it to clean it. Didn't even get it open, reclosed it, now it won't turn on. What's weird is when I went to turn it on it came on but turned off immediately and now won't work. When its plugged in, the indicator light wont be lit. What could be the issue?

Is there any indication on the charger to say it is working?

If youre not getting any power i would try an alternate charger.
