Dear Sir,
I have Transcan 4 GB pen drive i can't formate it
I Just go through your answer about weak the Registry.

Use regedit to change dword value.

Enable and Disabling of USB write protect using regedit

1 - Enabling USB write protect

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies]

"WriteProtect"=dword:00000000

2 - Disabling Write Protect

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies]

"WriteProtect"=dword:00000001

But Still it will not be formated it saw still write protected Pls. advise me as soon as possible.
Regard
Pinal

Hello,

Try this 1

In registry, 0=Disable 1=Enable.

Make sure that its 0, not 1 in "Registry Editor".

If the problem still exists then try repairing your "Transcend drive".

Click on the below link and follow the instructions.

Good Luck
