Sir,
Reqst provide suitable steps for formatting the hp v165w pen drive \
When I format the same an error msg shown "windows unable to formate the disk"\

Self download the format tool and try to format the same pen drive , but 
i am not sucess \ After formatting a error is shown that " device media is write protected " \ Reqst provide solution \\

try this

1) First check if there is any format utility available in your pen drive manufacture's 

website. Try formatting with that utility. 

2) Click on the below link and follow the instructions

3) If the problem still exists then click on the below hyperlink "HDDLLF" and 

download it. 

HDDLLF 

Connect your pen drive --> Open the downloaded application --> Click on 

"Continue for free" --> Select your pen drive from the list --> Click on "Continue". 

After completion of the process try formatting your pen drive from the Windows.

Dear,

Issue still not resolved \ After getting three steps from you self try details are as under :-

1. No any format tool available in pen drive 

2. After going undermentioned instruction STRORAGEDEVICEPOLICIES not showing in my computer .HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

3. HDDLLF downloaded and format the pendrive also after format a pop up show (Low-level format is done.you will have to create partition and format this device )

Again format the same pen drive but facing same problem that "Device media is write-protected "

So how to remove write protected pse provide guidline \\

try this


* if u format from HDDLLF that is u have to create partition for pendrive go to start run type dismgmt.msc see ur drive if u see any unallocated space in drive try to partition it or change drive letter may this help u.

Issue resolved through tool UFIX-II \Now pendrive o.k thanks please \\
