Hello,

I have had this computer for a number of years and had very little problem with it. Suddenly today when I started it back up, it keep starting up. It continually goes back to boot and I have tried every alternative offered with no luck. I tried system recovery and it locks up. I tried bootleg and virtually everything else to no avail. It continually lists a great many files that appear to be show various partitions, multi files and 32.

I only truly need to save the years of data files that are important. I was wondering if anyone else had run into this and if obaining an emergency boot CD would be of use and at the same time not destroy the files already there.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello,

Try this 1

1) When you switch ON your computer, start tapping the "F8" key to get

"Windows Advanced Options"( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep

tapping the F8 key)

2) Select the option "Last Known Good Configuration".

Also check your RAM. Even bad RAM will result in restarting problem.

Remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it back properly or try another

slot. If you are having two RAMs then remove it, place only one RAM and check if

you are able to use the PC without any problem. If the problem still exists then

change the slot. If you still having the same issue then try the above procedure

with the other RAM.

Good Luck
