                    This could be either a problem with:
1. screen backlight
2. inverter that supplies power to the backlight
3. data/power cable from motherboard to screen
4. power supply circuit on the motherboard
None of these things can be fixed by the average home user. I suggest you find a qualified repair shop and have them give you an estimate.
