Good Morning,
it really sounds like a hard drvie failure, but you woul dneed to get into bios and see if the bios has it listed. If it is not listed in bios, remove it and reseat it into the connector toassure the connection is good. If bios doesnt see it, it is bad.
--Access the BIOS by pressing F2
