Hello,
when I turn on my acer laptop I have an option to click F2 to go to the setup utilities, otherwise if I let the laptop be it dose not boot what so ever after the Acer logo pops up. After the logo pops up and the booting begins the laptop only has a black screen and stops all booting progress. and I get below error:

Broadcom Base Code PXE 201 v1.1.0
PXE - EGi : media test failure, check cable
PXE- MOF: Existing Broadcom PXE ROM
operating system not found.

any thoughts?
i have tried reinstalling new OS but it asks for Drivers and it does not show skip option there, so I can't installed new window as well.

Thanks for support.

I would say that your hard disk has failed.
The error message about "Broadcom" is probably triggered by the PC's attempt to boot from the network after it can't find a bootable disk.

Good Luck
Thanks Xpcman,

so do you mean I need to replcae my hard disk or laptop is not able to read it?

what else I can do to get my all data back and recover my system.

Thanks.

You really need a local PC repair shop to fix this problem for you. Most likely you will need a new hard drive and you will not be able to recover your existing data. But, a computer tech will need "hands on" access to your PC to fix it.
