HI Dear,
What is the meaning of photos are gone in front of your eyes?
Have you or someone deleted your photos by mistake??
If it is the case then check your recycle bin. All the files are placed in recycle bin after deletion.
Note: Only normal deletion file goes in recycle bin.
For example:
Delete Key -> Temporary Delete -> Recycle Bin
Shift+Delete Key-> Permanently delete
