Hi,

I've been trying to solve this problem for a couple of days now but I can't seem to see what's wrong. I bridged my windows vista laptops internet connection to my windows xp desktop that doesnt have an internet connection on it but it wont work. I still can't get an internet connection onto my desktop. Can somebody tell me what im doing wrong or what needs to be done so that I can finally have an internet connection on my desktop. I am not really good with computers so if you can help me with steps I would greatly appreciate it.

Do you have a device that gives out DHCP?

If not, you will need to configure TCP/IP and give them static IP addresses on the same IP range and point the guest PC's default gateway to the PC which is doing the connection sharing.
