Hi, I have a Sony Vaio model SVF152C29L.

I turn on my laptop and it says Vaio Preparing Automatic Repair, then changes to Diagnosing. Then it changes to a blue screen that says Automatic Repair Your PC did not start correctly. It gives me the option to restart or use advanced options.

When I try restart, it just gives me a black screen.

I'm not very tech savvy and would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Greetings,

1. Restart your Sony Vaio if it is already on. If it's off, turn it on.

2. Press the F12 key on your Sony Vaio keyboard. This will enter the computer into the built-in restore mode. Note that depending on the model of Sony Vaio, you may have to press either the F11 key or the ESC key to enter this restore mode.

Good luck!
