Sims 3 keep crashing?

Whenever I play Sims 3 I can use the build mode just fine but whenever I make a family and try to put it into a home it will freeze and won't respond.

Ok, try this. RUn it in win95. Go to the the properties, compatibility tab, and click run as win95, run as admin. I am showing for sim societies:

What does platform mean? Yeah the game was working just fine until a little while ago.

Hello Kittycat,

Mark always works from a platform, he is kind of a very proud person.

He meant operating system, ie. Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1 or on your mobile phone. Don't despair, Mark will answer you because he is also loyal, courageous and has perseverance not to mention that he served as a cyber navy seal in the Everglades.
