Acer laptop to work it wont let me on to the computer

Hello, im trying to get my acer laptop to work it wont let me on to the computer. when I turn it on it says fix problems that are preventing windows from starting and it has a launch startup repair but when I click on to it it doesn't do anything

I suspect a damaged hard drive. Did you perhaps drop the laptop recently?
