Hi,
I am trying to connect an Acer S236HL monitor to an HP Pavilion dv9700 laptop but with either VGA or HDMI cable it says no signal. I have tried fn and F4/F5 but to no avail, any ideas?

Press FN kEY,then F5 to set the monitor.
