Living in spain and wanting google.co.uk as my homepage.

in answer to a question I saw earlier. I have solved this myself.
using windows 7.... in firefox. and living in spain, it wouldnt let me have google.co.uk as my homepage.

solution
open firefox...... in the address box. type www.google.co.uk
in the secondary adress box. ( its on the same line as the first one, just further to the left- THIS HAS A G ICON..... DONT TRY TO DRAG AND DROP THIS IT WONT WORK, )
type google.co.uk

then drag the icon. above the first address box..... on my machine its a square with nothing in it... (whilst dragging you will see the google.co.uk page moving.... )take this drag to the house icon, on the far right .. a pop up box will ask if you want to make this your home page.... SAY YES. I did this 3 time to ensure it was still there, its taken me 3 hrs of searching the webby to realise I could have done it myself. never mind, its sorted now. good luck, xx
