Hello,

Got iPod as a present three months ago but have no idea how to download free games,music ,and other apps without iTunes HELP!!!!!!!!!

Leeza,

You cannot, without creating them yourself, but then the security certificate required to run it on an i-anything isn't free even if you did create it.

You must connect to the i-store, which requires an itunes account.
