hello...can anyone help me out with this, acer travelmate P253-E can't display after power cutoff from the mains supply since there was no battery inside. Actually, the screen power up but it just stays black after pressing the power button, there is nothing displayed, no logo, no "press f2" commands, there is completely nothing!! can anyone tell me how to go about this? thanx in advance for your response.

Oh I meant to say "in this case it can't even pass the bios stage"

Hello,
in this case it can't even pass the bios stage - Do you mean it got stuck at the acer logo screen ?
BIOS flashing should be done only when you have an idea about it. A wrong BIOS flashing or
flashing done without following the manufacture's instructions can lead to major problems.
First connect the external monitor to your laptop and then switch ON your laptop. Then tap the combination keys.

I have just checked the instructions on the link but I did try them before and non of them worked...the ram works perfactely in another computer..cmos battry is stil ok...I took it out for some tyme.then put it back..stil nthin..I thought bios was somehw corrupt and there4 I tried flashing bios and I tnk I got things worse coz now d screen takes some time to light up as compared to before..so I'm not sure whetha the bios is stil ok den and I don't have a similar machine to swap d bios chips...I'm now thinkin of checkin every possible voltage and testin any suspecious component on the motherboard!I'm realy stuck!don't knw what to do!!

Try this 1
Make sure that you have flashed the correct BIOS following the instructions given by your laptop manufacturer.
Have you tried connecting to the external monitor and used the correct combination keys to swap the display to the external monitor ? If you still failed to get the display the problem might be with the motherboard.

I mean it couldn't even show logo...but hey..I got everythin under control...I successefully flashed bios nd I got things back to normal!! The problem was a corrupt bios. Thanx for your support jack! :-)...I'm so happy!

Hello everyone. Im new to this forum so I hope you can help me with my problem. Today I was playing some warthunder when suddenly my pc just turned off. I tried to turn it on after and it wont boot. The fans were spinning loud but everything else just seems fine. Here are my specs:

acer screen black problem

help me how to fix laptop screen black problem. I have acer aspire 5750 laptop.
when I turned on everything works properly but, screen shows nothing . it display nothing. only black screen displays.
when I enter with safe mode it worked properly, but in normal mode it displays black screen.
please help me how to fix it

Computer powers on but does not boot & fans don't spin

Hello,

I have a Gateway Model GT5016E. It worked normally until one day it would not turn on. I took it to a computer repair shop & they said I needed a new motherboard. I replaced the motherboard but the problem still presists. I even purchased new RAM & a power supply. The desktop still does not boot. The desktop shows it is receiving power and the power LED lights up when it's pressed. I have no clue what else it can be. Any answers that can help resolve this will really help.

PC unable to boot,but fan is running

First of all,thanks for looking into this problem.
Okay,here's my problem,I have a LG cpu,and I the problem right now is,when I try to boot , I pressed the power button ,I can hear the fans are running(used to be just blue light,without blinking when the system is running)the Samsung monitor blue light are blinking, but the screen remains black. I had tried keep turn.off power supply and boot and.boot.and boot,sometimes(1 out of 50times restart)it gives a beep PC booting sound and it starts,but sometimes it gives a beep souns but nothings happened.Someone please help me...

PC Powers on, Fans & Hard disk spinning, but no display & beep

I'm not using my pc for months already and so I tried to use it again yesterday. I plugged everything and turn on the PC. It doesn't boot completely so I formatted the hard disk and it boots successfully after the format. I already did windows update and installed everything successfully. After the update it's fine. So I turn it off after using it for a couple of hours. But when I turn it on again after few hours... its not booting, no display, no beep, fans and hard disk working.

I already did clean everything.
Used different ram sticks, cpu fans, power supply, or even processor which is with the same socket and use video card 'cause i guess maybe its just the vga of t...
