help me friends,
I m having trouble with my pen drive 64 gb THOSHIBA .problem i see with pen drive is whenever i copy files to pen drive all copying is done and when i remove it safely and re plug it shows some of folders are empty. but capacity is taken when check pen drive properties. then all select (ctrl+A) folders, and check capacity, it shows , less capacity
an example Pen drive used capacity = 15 GB , but all select (Ctrl +A ) capacity = 2.05 gb like that. im using win XP OS
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* is not working

I suspect a counterfeit drive that does not have the stated memory. These counterfeit drives are made to simulate that they are copying data and report more memory than they physically have.
About the only option is to trash the drive and only buy drives from authorized dealers.
