hi there,
ive been having this problem where suddenly ive got a red X(cross) on my volume icon.
Before any1 says this, its not on mute.

I have tried everything I have read on the internet.

I have gone to device manager, tried the scan for hardware change ... tried the upgrade drivers and even uninstalled and reinstalled.

i even went to ''services'' and tried starting the audio there... nothing happens

You can guarantee installing thse base system device drives will get your sound working.

can you right click on them and go to properties > then the details tab and select hardware ids from the drop down and send me the screenshot.

Dont right click the bluetooth. ignore it. i'm not bothered about.

IN DEVICE MANAGER

> Right click base system device
> Click properties
> Click the details tab
> Select hardware ids
