Hello! This is my first fourm post on here so if I'm doing anything wrong, please inform me.

Anyways, I am connected to my wireless modem and my laptop says I have full bars, but I cannot do anything related with the internet; my Skype has the reloading sign next to it, and I cannot search Web pages. It's just not my laptop either. My Xbox, PS4, smartphone, and other two computers throughout my home say that are connected to the modem, but cannot connect to the internet.

Thanks in advance.

OK, so when it comes to the wireless gateway: Is it ISP provided, or your own?

Assuming that it is yours, if you were to take the cable from the ISP Router and connect it into your pc or laptop, can you surf?

When you pull an ip address for the gateway, what does it give you?

The gateway is provided by my ISP. So does that mean my problem revolves around them?

If it is their equipment, then contact them as you are not able to consume their services.
