Internet not working

Hello,

I ran a virus scanning program and now torch as well as I.E. has stopped working. I am on the internet but the servers will not allow me to get on

You might try to start IE and go to the Tools icon - Internet Options and click on the Reset to default option. Then check Proxy servers settings by going to Connections - Lan Settings and remove any Proxy servers you find.

I have had to clean a few computers when malware messed with these options.
