Toshiba Satelite Laptop Keys Not Working?

Same problem as this person, I've tried cleaning them and that works for a few minutes but not permanently.

My Y and R keys intermittently stop working, for example they weren't working for the title of this post but have somehow started functioning as I tpe... oka nevermind apparentl gone again lol.

Help much appreciated!

have you tried a external USB keyboard?

We have seen a number of complaints about Toshiba keyboard malfunctions. It would appear that replacement of the failed keyboard is your only option.
