Laptop won't turn on and shows no light.

Hello,



My laptop charges but won't turn on, the lights don't even come up either

Hi zeal211,

What makes you think your charger is working and providing charge to your laptop? With no lights on at all when plugged in, then this points to the charger having failed.

the charging light shows while charging. but that's not the case now again.... I removed my battery and pressed the power button for 30 seconds.... it now shows light on the power button and caps lock button (blinking) without booting.... thanks for your concern

Hi zeal211,

What is the make and model of your machine?

Am I right in thinking from your description that the power light does not flash?

Does the flashing have any sequence (eg 5 flashes - pause - 5 flashes - pause) or is it flashing continuously?

Are there any other lights that flash?

What was the last thing that happened when you switched it off before it stopped working?

Is there anything else you can tell me to give a hint of what has happened?

it's hp probook 4525s. it starts blinking after 5 secs approximately n then continues blinking
