My inspiron is not starting all of a sudden . When I push start button 8 beep sound is heard longer in the beginning n then shorter . But the screen is blank all the time . Plz help me thanks in advance . My charger n battery are working fine.

Hello,
In most of the Inspiron laptops, '8 beeps' code is for the LCD failure. Pressing D and power button will initiate a diagnostics test on the LCD of your computer.
May I know if this issue is intermittent or happens every time you power on the computer?

This is the first time I am getting this issue. And even after me pressing S along with power button I am still seeing the blank screen.

Every time I power on , the same thing is happening. Please tell me what's the solution for this.

Hello.
Please shut down the laptop, press the FN key first and then press the power button, this will intitate the hardware diagnostics.

Beep Code Overview

1 System board failure,covers BIOS corruption,ROM errors.
2 Memory or Memory slot failure
3 System board failure
4 Memory failure
5 CMOS battery failure
6 Video card/chip failure
7 Processor failure
8 LCD failure
