WD Elements 2TB desktop drive very slow

My WD elements desktop drive (external) is very slow. It is not recognized for long time sometimes. The files can be seen but down load is very slow and file transfer takes hours.

Hello,
Did your external HDD have lots of stuff? That is datas inside?

It is probably due to large storage has been done from your side. Try to remove unimportant stuff.
