Ps4 games spoilt my external hard drive

Hello, greetings...I bought an external hard drive that was formatted in FAT32 and when I try to formart it back to NTFS on a Mac, it does not Mount and when I keep it in FAT32, the file in it are not readable; for-example a video in it plays with scratches and green lines allover it. it's a 320GB hard drive. Some one please help me solve this misery am facing

Hi there,

You may have some difficulties formatting the drive in NTFS using a Mac. This could be possible using some third party software. If you have access to a Windows PC, I strongly recommend you to use it and format the drive. As far as I understood, the files on your drive are readable in FAT32 but with some errors and performance issues. I recommend you to download a diagnostics tool from the hard drive manufacturer's web page and test the hard drive.
