I am stuck in the loop. I brought a refurbished laptop.
You turn it on and it goes from preparing automatic repair to diagnosing repairs and back to repairing..etc So I am stuck in the LOOP!!!!
I pressed f2 and got to the utility setup. Cannot get any where else.
Can I set it back to factory w/o losing my windows 8.1 in this utility setup?
There has to be something!!! I have f8, f9, f10. f11...I am all done with f!!!
Please help me reset it or fix it thank you in advance

Hello,
Try this 1
You can try the option "Refresh your PC" in Windows 8
1) When you switch ON your computer, start tapping the "F8" key to
get "Startup Settings" options ( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key
and keep tapping the F8 key)
2) When "Startup Settings" appears, press the "F10" key.
3) When the "Launch recovery environment" appears, press the number
key "1".
4) When the "Choose an option" window appears, select the option
"Troubleshoot".
6) When the "Troubleshoot" window appears, select the option "Refresh
your PC".
Make sure you read "Here's what will happen" and then
proceed with the on screen instructions if you agree with it.
If the problem still exists then click on the below hyperlink "Manual".
Manual
Download it --> Extract the file --> Open the "User Manual" --> Refer
to the topic "Recovery" regarding "Restore system from factory default"
Good Luck
