Hi, anyone who can help?
I have a Acer 6530 pc. When I changed to a new battery, a mosfet transistor burned of (PQ28 FDD8878). I have changed the transistor, but the labtop is not starting on the charger, and is not charging the battery. Only way to get it started, is to charge the battery otherwise, and put it in the labtop. So on charged battery it will start.

I can measure power to leg 3 on PQ28, but it won't open I think - I'm not so good at this. What should be the power to open PQ28 and PQ1(DMN601K-7) ?

I found out that the problem was PQ1. When I replaced it, the charging was on again, and the laptop work with charger also.
Unfortunately the PQ28 mosfet gets to hot, so now I only run on charger, without battery inserted. Likely the battery is no good. It was not original, but purchaced from ebay.
