Wired connection won't load websites, but downloads are fine
Closed
Hello Kioskea,
Here's the issue... I've recently bought an SSD and installed Windows 8. I had no connection issues in my mother's home, but when I went back to my home, the wired connection wouldn't load websites, even though it's able to download games (at full speed) via Steam and connect to Guild Wars 2 with no ping issues. When I disconnect my ethernet and connect through WiFi, it's able to load websites, download, connect to games etc. I honestly have no clue what's going on.
Could anybody help? Thank you for your attention!

if you go to https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl does it take you to google?
