Problem instaling windows xp

Hi there guys!!


I have one little problem . i was trying to instal win xp over win 7 ultimate i changed SATA configuration from bios to P-ATA thats the configuration on my pc so far so good i saved the setting and reboot . after i pres to boot from cd my win xp and pass trought "setup is inspectin your computer ...." i get a black screen and nothing happents . i tryed 3 different CD-ROM's same problem , my HDD is on SATA and my CD-ROM's are on IDE . Can someone help me please?

Windows XP was written years before your hardware was designed. That hardware was never supposed to run XP.

You didn't even tell us what hardware you are using.

Hardware i am not really an pc doctor but i think my hardware is cpu intel celeron 3.2 ghz 1.5 gb RAM mother board is asus pundit ph3 it doesent have vga or sound drivers for win 7 thats why i whant to put win xp on it a lot of drivers arent compatible with win 7 or vista only xp if you can help me get drivers for win 7 ultimate i will stay on it

Perhaps the free version of SlimDrivers can find and install the required Win 7 drivers. Just Google the name for a download location.

I downloaded slimdriver updated all my drivers exept video cant find it at all is there a way to make my xp driver work on win 7 i mean modifing the driver configurations or something like that?
