Shortcut virus

Hello,
when I put pen drive usb all files will gather together and creat a pend rive shortcut with hidden files names "~$wequljwcx.bak" and also "IndexerVolumeGuid"...
I used norton antivirus and also tried quick heal, also I tried attrib command but invain
anyone pl give solution

# Download USB Fix
  • It will launch automatically, and a shortcut will be created on your desktop.
  • Choose "Clean" option.
  • A pop-up will follow :
    Connect all your external data sources to your PC (Usb keys, external drives, etc...)
  • Once you're ready, click "OK".
  • While cleaning, you will loose access to your desktop, but this is normal.

The numbers of analysed and infected elements are displayed.

Hello,

I have a problem where my external hard drive keeps making shortcut folders. I have tried the fix where I go into the command prompt and put in
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
I now get "Access denied G:\ sytem volume information"

Help please?
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 36.0

Removable Disk (8GB) shortcut virus

Hi,

Anytime I plug in my USB drive to my laptop, a shortcut named Removable Disk (8GB) will be created and all files and folders on USB drive will go inside that shortcut but they are not hidden and I can access them.

I format USB drive and scan it. This will make USB drive clean but next time I connect it there is the same problem again. I think there is a problem with my laptop.

I scanned laptop with Windows Defender, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Hitman Pro. No virus or malware found. I don't know what else I can do to get rid of this virus.

Please help me.

i m formatting my sd card,after I recconect it to my laptop all files are still on it.i scanned it with a good antivirus it removes many viruses.but still sd card is nt formatting....

Hello,

I have laptop with windows 7 (os). My inserted his External hard disk in my laptop. Then after none of my USB ports are detecting any USB. I don't know what kind of Virus it is. Kindly instruct me to remove it.

I type "attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*" in the command prompt just like in your other discussion to recover files that are hidden by recycler virus but the "access denies" takes for ever to load that it took me an hour to finally just close it and not 5 min in your other discussion.
The device is a external storage of seagate with 1T and partiton in 4.
I only recover 1 partiton the other 3 takes forever to load when I type the command and the "access denies takes 7-8 lines" not 4-5 lines as what you said in other discussion.

Is There another way to recover the files?
