Acer laptop wont boot

Hello,
When i turn my computer on it shows the Acer screen then shows the dash line in the upper left corner and then shows a black screen?!

Have you recently plugged something into your computer which it could potentially be trying to boot from, Like a CD or USB?

Can you unplug the charger and battery and hold the power button for 10 seconds and try again.

It's almost as if your hard drive is faulty or your operating system is corrupt.

you're going to need to get a Windows operating system disk and try a repair.
