Laptop fell down

Mine is a lenovo z580 laptop
My laptop fell down and now when I on it, it did not show any display and fan keeps on running.I have reseated the ram modules (did not check any other ram)and I checked hard disk. Hard disk is damaged because I tried running it externally.I want to know any repair solution or if I take it to a technician the cost I have to spend.
I'm specifically asking for the chance of damage in display or in motherboard to what extent
I know both display or motherboard replacement make quite a cost.

You should try putting a new hard drive in with a fresh installation to see if everything else works.

I swithed on the laptop without harddrive there is nothing new,
the laptop power led comes up and fan runs at full speed.
I want to know the chances of any damage on motherboard or display???

If you're getting no display at all you might well have. Have you tried changing memory?

I have just checked the my memory in my friends laptop and it is fine and I also checked my friend's memory in mine the problem persists same

Looks like a motherboard issue then.

can i get any repair or I have to replace the entire motherboard
