ASUS vx7, gets power when plugged in, but will not boot up

Hello,

I have an ASUS Lambo VX7 laptop, when connected to power the charging light is on, an the green light on the power box is also on but the laptop will not boot up.

It worked fine up until all of a sudden I went to turn it on from being closed and nothing. I pressed the power key a little harder then normal and it turned on. After being closed again it will now not boot up at all.
