Hello, my 1520 Dell worked a dream, and then it decided it wasn't going to let me do anything with it. All i get, on switching on, is a message telling me i can't use the computer until I type in a Password. The P/W that I have not got!
Nor do I have a P/W reset disc, or a Windows 7 disc even. Is the once wonderful 1520 beyond hope? ( To ask this question i'm using another computer).

Sounds like a virus if you have never had to sign on before. Take it to a shop and have a technician fix it!

Thanks for reply. Oh well, I was just being a tad too optimistic i thinking/hoping it could be something simple that even I could do it. Again, thanks for your prompt reply which I was not expecting1 All the best!
