Hello,
My inspiron 3520 won't start. I push the power button and the Dell symbol comes on then a few seconds later it says no hard drive found and to reboot it or reseat drive. I took out the hard drive and put it back in and I tried to push F8 and still nothing happens. Please help!!

Greetings,

It looks as if your hard drive is damaged and should be replaced. Have it checked by a technician. Before you replace it compare the cost of repair with a new lappy.

Good luck

Hi Leschkies,

Sadly, it seems that the hard drive has failed. Is it visible in BIOS? I would try connecting it to another PC, as a secondary drive. If it is recognized, I would check it with some tools from the manufacturer's web page. Is your laptop under warranty? If it is, you should contact the reseller. If it is not and the drive is not working on another PC, you may need to get e new drive.

Hope this helps
