Hello,
I am a first time user of a MAC. I have a few questions.
first question: do I have to format "My Passport for MAC"?
2nd question: am I able to reassign where things are saved.
I bought the "My Passport" for MAC, does this version have to be "formatted" since its specifically for MAC?
also with my PC I was able to go in and specify where downloads are saved and where pictures, music, movies & everything else are saved- specifically to my external drive. I want to do the same with my MAC so I don't eat up the internal storage or have to use iCloud. I have moved my Pictures/iPhoto to the passport but when I go into the computer and delete the pictures, it deletes the pictures off the passport as well.
