I have a asus x551m and i tried taking out the battery and holding the power button but it didnt work. i hit the power button the light turns on but then it just turns off. Any Solutions?

What comes to Asus battery
Remove the battery from the laptop and unplug the power adapter when the device is not in use for more than two weeks.
Since the battery will be discharged with the passage of time during storage, it must be shipped every three months to extend the session capacity otherwise may not be able to keep the shipping or energy later
