i tried to return my laptop to out of the box performance. I was using 8.1 I did per the instructions how to reset it. but now when I try to reboot it says checking media goes to no bootable device-- please restart system.
I m unable to restart. I unplug restart with 0 (zero) button held down, I turned everything off then started it while pushing and releasing and pushing and releasing F12 it gives me a screen boot menu. gives me:
1. HDD/SSD TOSHIBA MQ01ABD050 (S1)
2. USB
3.ODD TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN - 208AB (PM)
4. LAN EFI NETWORK 0 FOR IPv4 (00-8C-FA-44-CC-AB)
<Enter Setup>
Can I do anything to save the laptop?

It's possible the hard disk has failed.. A local PC repair shop can install a new one for you.
Good luck
