                    I tried almost everything posted on this topic,  Tried reseating ram, Taking off power cord, depressing power cord or 30-60 sec.  One member said he had to replace transistors, I think.  You were to look for expanded parts on mother board.  Nothing,,,until I noticed a freaking cr3022 watch battery,  Apparently this starts bios at start up and powers the clock when the computer is off.                     This problem is best diagnosed by a local PC repair shop.  It's probably a hardware failure in the motherboard or video card.
