Headphones are not working on my laptop Closed

Hello, I try to add headphones to my laptop  but its not working. It can't show any sign that the headphones are attach to the laptop and the voice is not coming from the headphones.
Please anybody can help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What type of headphones are your talking about.  Like earbuds with a cord, or some USB type that requires drivers and such?

If it is the USB type, make certain you have the driver for your hardware!
