New Router

Hi: I just purchased a new router (TP-Link) and I still have a desktop which has XP on it. The computer is quite old but still use on occasion...when we purchased the new router the laptop connected, no problem but I cannot get the desktop to work. It shows that it's connected but you cannot get onto the internet. If there is anyone that could help, it surewould be appreciated.

WHo is your ISP? It really matters when we know who you are connected to.

i'm connected to our local provider, Kwic Internet...in Simcoe, Ontario

OK, so take your desktop, and look at the NIC. Does it have a link light? Is it wireless? Did you load the drivers for the wireless?
